Week 2 of Jeremy vs. the Public, and the crowd is loud on this one. Four of my six college picks this week are on the other side of the betting public.
The big one is in Knoxville: 80% of the bets are on Kentucky, and I’ve got Tennessee -6.5. The public also likes Florida over my Fade (Oklahoma +6.5), BYU over Utah and Georgia over Ole Miss.
| My pick | The public is on (% of bets) |
|---|---|
| The Fade: Oklahoma +6.5 at Florida | Florida, 56% |
| The Kentucky Hat Guarantee: Tennessee -6.5 vs. Kentucky | Kentucky, 80% |
| Utah -5.5 vs. BYU | BYU, 61% |
| Ole Miss +3.5 vs. Georgia | Georgia, 57% |
Same side this week, so they don’t count: Ohio State -7.5 vs. Oregon (52% of bets on the Buckeyes) and Miami +7 at Notre Dame (84% on Miami).
Season so far: Jeremy 2-1, Public 1-2. Results Tuesday, and the running score lives on The Record.
Public betting: Action Network, % of bets, as of 4:45 p.m. CT, Friday, Nov. 6. My lines are from this week’s column (as of Wednesday, Nov. 4). For entertainment.
