Bo Nix Saves Our Sunday: Broncos Cover in Arizona

FINAL: Broncos 30, Cardinals 16. We laid 4.5 with Denver in the desert, and the Broncos covered by nine and a half. After an 0-4 early window that had us questioning every life choice, Bo Nix and company saved our Sunday. CASHED. 🙌

How Denver won it

It was a 6-6 field-goal fight until late in the second quarter. Arizona had just tied it, and on the very next drive Bo Nix took off for a 62-yard touchdown run. That flipped the game. Denver never trailed again.

Nix opened the second half with a 52-yard touchdown pass to RJ Harvey to make it 20-6. When Arizona answered with a Trey McBride touchdown, J.K. Dobbins punched in a 1-yard score right at the end of the third, and a Wil Lutz field goal made it 30-13 with 8:39 left. Game over, cover secured.

  • Bo Nix: 15 of 29, 222 yards, 1 TD passing. Also Denver’s leading rusher: 7 carries, 73 yards, 1 TD.
  • Wil Lutz: three field goals (48, 43, 31) and three extra points.
  • Alex Singleton: 19 tackles and a sack. Nineteen.
  • For Arizona, Trey McBride caught 10 passes for 111 yards and a touchdown.

So the day goes from 0-4 to 1-4 with the Chiefs +2.5 still to play on Sunday Night Football. Follow along live here. Is Bo Nix finally the guy in Denver? Tell us on X.
