Bengals Survive the Titans in Overtime, and Our Bengals -10 Falls Short

The Bengals won. Our pick didn’t. And around here, that’s the best loss of the week.

❌ Bengals -10: Bengals 43, Titans 36 (OT). Cincinnati needed overtime to beat a 1-6 team at home, and a 7-point win doesn’t get there against a 10-point spread.

The Titans led 28-23 in the fourth quarter on a Cam Ward touchdown pass to Chimere Dike. Joe Burrow answered with a 25-yard score to Mike Gesicki, but the two-point try failed. Then Ward hit Wan’Dale Robinson for 15 yards and found Gunnar Helm for two, and Tennessee led 36-29 with 3:46 left.

Burrow tied it with an 18-yard touchdown to Tee Higgins with 1:17 to go. Cincinnati got the ball first in overtime and Burrow walked it in from 9 yards.

Burrow finished 38-of-48 for 462 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions. Ward went 26-of-40 for 304 yards with no picks, and Tony Pollard ran for 117 yards and two scores. A week after trading Jeffery Simmons, the Titans went toe to toe on the road. Titan Up.

That makes it 2-3 for our early NFL picks. Still to come: Chiefs -1.5 at Denver. Follow along live on X @fiveandafade.
