What We’re Watching Tuesday: Brewers Go for a World Series Sweep in Tampa Bay Game 4

Five and a Fade card: What we're watching Tuesday, Brewers at Rays in World Series Game 4, Pistons at Knicks, Bruins at Hurricanes, Blazers at Lakers

The Milwaukee Brewers can win the World Series on Tuesday night. They lead the Tampa Bay Rays 3-0 after a 10-1 win in Game 3 on Monday. Here is what we are watching. All times Central.

  1. World Series Game 4: Brewers at Rays, 7 p.m., Fox. Milwaukee won 103 games and has not lost yet in this series. I am not betting against a 103-win team holding a broom. Brewers finish it.
  2. Pistons at Knicks, 7 p.m., NBC. Detroit is 3-0 and New York is 0-3. Saying the Pistons are the better team right now is not a hot take anymore.
  3. Bruins at Hurricanes, 7 p.m., ESPN. Boston is 9-2-1 and Carolina is 9-2-2. Two of the best starts in hockey, same ice. Best regular-season game on the board.
  4. Blazers at Lakers, 10 p.m., Peacock/NBC. The Lakers are 3-0 and Portland is 2-0. Somebody’s perfect start ends tonight. Stay up for it.
  5. Tuesday college football: Delaware at Western Kentucky, 6 p.m., CBSSN, and Sam Houston at Missouri State, 7 p.m., ESPN2. Delaware and WKU are both 3-4. Nobody is calling these marquee games. We are watching anyway, because it is college football on a Tuesday.

Our picks: nothing on the board for Tuesday. Our verdict: Game 4 is the must-watch, because you do not get many chances to see a sweep finished.
