Cowboys vs. Eagles Live: We Need Philadelphia +4.5

Live updates from Monday Night Football. We took the Philadelphia Eagles +4.5 at home against the Dallas Cowboys. Translation: we win if the Eagles win outright or lose by four or fewer. This line opened with Philly favored by 3 and swung all the way to Dallas -4.5, and that 7.5-point move is exactly why we’re on the other side.

Updates

  • 4th quarter, 3:08: Cowboys 31, Eagles 21. Dallas has the ball at the Philadelphia 5 and the Eagles are out of timeouts. Down 10, we are outside our +4.5, and this one is slipping away. We need a goal-line stand and a fast score. Hold the line, Philly.
  • 4th quarter, 7:47: Cowboys 31, Eagles 21. Brandon Aubrey added a 24-yard field goal with 9:10 left, and then Dallas picked off Tanner McKee at the Cowboys 29 to end a Philly drive in Dallas territory. Down 10, the Eagles are well outside our +4.5, so we need a stop and then a touchdown to get back inside the number. Come on, Philly.
  • End of 3rd quarter: Cowboys 28, Eagles 21. Dallas answered right away: Dak Prescott hit CeeDee Lamb for a 16-yard touchdown with 1:30 left in the third and ran in the two-point conversion himself. Down seven, the Eagles are outside our +4.5 right now, so we need at least a field goal to get back inside the number. Philly punted early in the fourth, but Dallas is pinned at its own 16. Get a stop, Philly.
  • 3rd quarter, 5:44: Eagles 21, Cowboys 20. Tanner McKee hit Makai Lemon for a 4-yard touchdown to finish a 17-play, 84-yard drive that ate 9:16 off the clock, and Philadelphia is back in front. Up one, we are covering the +4.5 again. LET’S GO, Philly.
  • Halftime: Cowboys 20, Eagles 14. Dallas drove into the red zone in the final minute and Brandon Aubrey hit a 27-yard field goal as time expired. Down six, the Eagles are outside our +4.5 right now, so we need Philly to get within four or win it in the second half. Come on, Philly.
  • 2nd quarter, 2:28: Cowboys 17, Eagles 14. Dak Prescott found George Pickens for a 21-yard touchdown to put Dallas back in front. Down three, we are still covering the +4.5, and a 48-yard Braden Mann punt just pinned the Cowboys at their own 2. Make them go 98 yards, Philly.
  • 2nd quarter, 8:35: Eagles 14, Cowboys 10. Dameon Pierce finished that drive with a 5-yard touchdown run, and Philadelphia leads. Up four, we are comfortably covering the +4.5 right now, though Dallas is driving at the Philly 34. Get a stop, Philly.
  • End of 1st quarter: Cowboys 10, Eagles 7. Philadelphia closed the quarter driving, with a 17-yard Tanner McKee pass to Darius Cooper setting up first down inside the Dallas 12. Down three, we’re still covering the +4.5. Punch it in, Philly.
  • 1st quarter, 5:32: Cowboys 10, Eagles 7. Saquon Barkley’s 8-yard touchdown run put Philly up 7-3 after a 55-yard Brandon Aubrey field goal, but Dak Prescott answered with a 9-yard touchdown pass to CeeDee Lamb. Down three, the Eagles are still inside our +4.5, so we’re covering. We need a response, though. Come on, Philly.
  • 1st quarter, 13:24: Eagles 0, Cowboys 0. Dallas took the opening kickoff and is already across midfield at the Philadelphia 39 after a 15-yard Javonte Williams run. Still scoreless, so we’re covering, but the Eagles defense needs a stand right here. Hold the line, Philly.
  • Pregame: Eagles 0, Cowboys 0. Kickoff is moments away in Philadelphia on ESPN and ABC. Both teams come in 2-4, and we’re riding with the home dog. Let’s go, Philly.
